This is a Cambodian rice porridge called Borbor Sach Chrouk. Rice porridge is a dish that is from Chinese origin and part of the Cambodian-Chinese culinary heritage. Borbor Sach Chrouk (Cambodian Rice Porridge With Pork)

INGREDIENTS
For Ground Pork Marinateβ£
1 cup ground pork
1 tsp minced garlic
1 tbsp chopped green onion
1 tsp ground black peppercorns
1/2 tsp soy sauce
Pinch of salt
For Cooking
2 tbsp cooking oil
2 tbsp chopped garlic
1/2 cup cooked white rice
1 1/2 cup water
1/4 cup dried shrimp, soaked hot water
2 tsp fish sauce
For Topping
Bean sprouts
Green onion, chopped
Fresh cilantro, chopped
Black ground peppercorns
Fried garlic
Chili garlic vinegar
INSTRUCTIONS
Combine all the ingredients for ground pork. Mix well and set it aside.
In a small pot, heat the pot to medium-high heat and add 2 tbsp of cooking oil.
Add 2 tbsp chopped garlic. Stir until the garlic is lightly golden, then add 1/2 cup cooked rice. Stir for 15 seconds.
Next, add 1 1/2 cup of water and soaked dried shrimp. Close the pot lid and bring it to boil.
Open the lid, add the ground pork. Roll the ground into small pieces of meatballs.
Add 2 tsp of fish sauce. Stir well.
Close the lid and turn to low heat. Let it slowly simmer for 4 to 5 minutes.
Finally, put the porridge into a bowl and top with bean sprouts, chopped cilantro, chopped green onion, ground black peppercorns, fried garlic, and chili garlic vinegar.
