Japanese Pork Tonkatsu

INGREDIENTS
For Pork
1 thin sliced pork
1 tsp kosher salt
ΒΌ tsp ground black pepper
Β½ cup all-purpose flour
1 egg, beaten
1 cup panko Japanese breadcrumbs
2 cups cooking oil
For Tonkatsu Sauce
2 tbsp Worcestershire sauce
1 tbsp ketchup
1 tbsp oyster sauce
1 tsp sugar
For Serving & Garnishing
Cooked Japanese rice
Green onion, chopped
Toasted sesame seeds
INSTRUCTIONS
Pound the thin sliced pork to flatten, then season the pork with salt and ground black pepper.
Next, Coat the chicken with flour, beaten egg, and the panko breadcrumbs. Set the coated pork aside.
Heat 2 cups of cooking oil in a frying pan and fry the coated pork until golden brown on each side. Take out the pork and drain the excess oil on a paper towel.
Prepare for the Tonkatsu sauce in a small bowl. Set aside.
Cut the pork katsu and transfer it to a bowl of steamed rice.
Drizzle the Tonkatsu sauce over the pork katsu and sprinkle some chopped green onion and toasted sesame seeds.
